The privacy policy (hereinafter "Privacy Policy") sets out the rules for the processing of personal data and the use of cookies by STM Defense Sp. z o. o. with its registered office in Warsaw, 02-092, ul. Żwirki i Wigury 16A, entered into the National Court Register maintained by the District Court for the capital city of Warsaw in Warsaw under the KRS number 0001024939, Tax Identification Number (NIP): 5223252617 (hereinafter referred to as the "Controller") on the website www.stmdefense.pl ("Website").

 

In our Privacy Policy, we inform our Website Users about how we collect and use personal data, the legal basis for processing personal data, and the rights Users have in connection with the processing of their personal data, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation; hereinafter "GDPR").

 

This Privacy Policy applies to the processing of personal data by the Controller of the following individuals:

  • Users of the Website who are natural persons to whom the Administrator provides services electronically;

  • Representatives, employees, and associates of Users of the Website who are not natural persons;

  • Persons who contact the Administrator or with whom the Administrator contacts by telephone, email, or other communication channel, hereinafter referred to as "Users"

The following types of personal data may be collected, stored, and used:

The Controller processes data on the following legal basis:

Article 6(1)(a) of the Regulation of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter "Regulation"), i.e., based on the user's consent, in situations in which such consent was required and was given, Article 6(1)(b) of the Regulation, for the performance of contracts, to consider complaints, or to take steps prior to entering into a contract, Article 6(1)(c) of the Regulation, for the purpose of fulfilling our legal obligations, in connection with issuing an invoice for the purchase of goods,

 Article 6(1)(b) of the Regulation, f of the Regulation, when the basis for processing is the legitimate interest of the Controller, in order to improve our offer, ensure the best possible quality of our goods and services and inform our customers about them, conduct direct marketing, protect or pursue claims, and ensure accountability for the performance of our legal obligations.

 

The Controller processes data for the following periods:

Personal data processed based on the Controller's legitimate interest will be stored for the duration of that interest or until the data subject objects.

Personal data processed based on consent will be stored until your consent is revoked.

The Controller does not store your data for periods longer than those required by applicable law.

Data Sharing

The Controller does not share data with third parties unless there is a legal basis for doing so. Recipients of your personal data may also include entities authorized to receive your data, only in justified cases and based on applicable legal provisions.

In connection with processing, your personal data may be shared or entrusted to the following entities:

  • authorized employees of the Controller,

  • entities providing outsourcing, accounting, and IT services, and maintaining IT infrastructure for the Controller,

  • entities affiliated with the Controller in Poland and abroad,

  • public authorities pursuant to statutory requirements,

  • the Controller's Partners

Personal data may be transferred to countries/international organizations outside the European Economic Area if these countries/organizations have been deemed by the European Commission to provide an adequate level of personal data protection to that applicable in the European Economic Area, or provided that appropriate safeguards are in place, which may include the use of binding corporate rules, standard data protection clauses adopted by the European Commission, standard data protection clauses adopted by the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, or contractual clauses authorized by the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.

 

Data profiling: Users' personal data are not subject to profiling.

  • the right to request rectification of your data (Article 16 of the GDPR) if it is false or incomplete

  • the right to request the deletion of your data (Article 17 of the GDPR), when the data is not processed in accordance with the law, consent to data processing is withdrawn, or the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, an objection to data processing is raised, or the data must be deleted to fulfill the legal obligation,

  • not be subject to automated decision-making, including profiling,

  • the right to request restriction of data processing (Article 18 of the GDPR)

  • the right to transfer data (Article 20 of the GDPR) when processing is based on consent or contract

  • the right to withdraw consent to the processing of personal data. Consent to the processing of personal data may be withdrawn at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out based on consent before its withdrawal.   • the right to object to the processing of personal data when the processing of personal data is based on a legitimate interest or for statistical purposes, and the objection is justified by the special situation of the data subject, or when the data are processed for direct marketing purposes

The Website contains links to external websites belonging to our partners, which are not owned by the Administrator. Therefore, the Administrator is not responsible for the content of these websites.
